The St. Francisville community is mourning the reported death of Tammy Neames, 65, who died Monday morning following a single-vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 66.
According to the Louisiana State Police, the fatal crash occurred at approximately 5 a.m. as Neames was traveling eastbound on Louisiana Highway 66 in a pickup truck. For reasons that remain under investigation, the vehicle left the roadway, entered a ditch, struck a driveway and overturned.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene after the crash, but Neames was pronounced dead. Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances leading up to the collision.
