Two men were killed and a third was seriously injured following an early-morning shooting at a house under construction in Albertville, Alabama, on Sunday, August 30, 2026, as police continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the deadly violence.
Authorities said the shooting happened at approximately 1:15 a.m. in the 1400 block of Oneonta Cut-Off Road. The three men were reportedly at a residence that was still under construction when gunfire erupted, prompting Albertville police and emergency personnel to respond to the property.
The Marshall County Coroner’s Office identified the two men who died as Starsky Dewayne Davis, 50, and Hunter Lawrence Moore, 27. Both victims suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
